YOU’RE FIN THE WAY! Shocking moment speeding windsurfer crashes into giant whale as he’s thrown from board & plunges head-first into water

THIS is the unbelievable moment a windsurfer narrowly escapes death after colliding with a massive whale in San Francisco.

Eric Kramer was gliding peacefully along the water in Crissy Field when the huge whale breached right beside him – and launched the surfer headfirst into the waves.

He completely lost control of the board and plunged into the waves, right beside the gray whale.

“It was a “whale” of a day…” the surfer joked on social media after the incident.

But on a more serious note he added: “Please be cautious and respect wildlife”.

He had seen whales in the area before setting off, and had “reduced speed” to avoid them but, according to his post, the whale “just popped up right in front of me”.

“Glad we are both okay”, referring to the whale, who was left uninjured by the dramatic collision.

Some commenters slammed the stupidity of the windsurfer, however.

“I mean if you noticed them there, then why did you still decide to sail,” asked one.

“Hmm- what happened to keeping back 300 ft from marine mammals?” another chimed in.

It comes as a couple on holiday woke to find a venomous snake slithering through their bed during the night.

The cobra woke the two at 5am when is was discovered near their heads in their hotel room in Thailand.

One ran screaming from the reptile, whilst the other stayed in bed, assuming it was a nightmare.

Luckily a reptile catcher swiftly arrived on the scene and, holding two phone torches, managed to capture the sneaky snake, holding it by the tail while its hood flared.
