THIS is the grim moment a giant python writhes on the floor after swallowing an ANTELOPE whole.
The mammoth meal turned out to be the greedy reptile’s last — as it stops moving and dies.
The 20ft-long creature can be seen rolling around as it struggles to digest its dinner at a wildlife sanctuary in India.

Minutes earlier it had earlier been seen strangling a fully-grown antelope to death.
But its eyes were bigger than its belly as it swallowed the impressive mammal in one sitting.

It was left barely able to move as the snake’s head could only nod from side to side.
The spectacle drew a large crowd from the nearby village of Baliavad in the western state of Gujarat.
Sunul Kumar, 28, said: “I found the python lying on the road. It was struggling to digest the animal it had swallowed.
“It was one of the most spectacular moments I have ever witnessed as the python was unbelievably huge.”
Pythons are able to dislocate their jaw to swallow entire creatures whole.
After one big meal they can go for several weeks without eating.

While the spectacle left local onlookers in awe, animal experts have raised concerns.
Deputy Forest Conservator of R Senthilkumaran said: “Forest officials were informed and they rushed to the site to ascertain its condition.
“It succumbed to the internal injuries caused by the swallowing the antelope.”
