Experienced pig farmers the Murillo family were shocked at the peculiar black-spotted animal.

Like a scene from a horror movie, the ranch owners thought the handicapped piglet was two beasts spliced together.

The family believe two bacon-flavoured babies must have fused together inside the mother pig’s womb.

Amazed by the porky arachnid, the farmers shared the picture online where it quickly went viral.

News of the birth was also featured in local media with the unusual creature quickly becoming a celebrity.

Unfortunately, the Spider Pig’s time in the spotlight was short-lived and it died minutes after being born.

This birth is the latest in a trend which is sweeping ranches across Central and South America.

Farm boffins believe pesticides used in genetically-modified food which are fed to hungry latino animals is the likely cause of the mutations.

A similar ‘octo-pig’ was born in Argentina recently with farmer Santiago Valdez causing a frenzy after posting images of the animal on social media.

The South American beast-handler was flabbergasted by the strange birth.

He said: “I have no idea why it happened.

“I was surprised that nobody has asked for it to carry out investigations.

“But nobody asked for it, so I just threw it away.”
